Accessibility statement
Alenta Service serves older adults and people with disabilities. Accessibility isn't an add-on for us — it's who we serve. We are committed to making this website usable by everyone, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we've done
- Text contrast ratios meet or exceed 4.5:1 against every background on the site.
- Every page is fully navigable using only a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- A "Skip to main content" link is the first focusable element on every page.
- Headings and landmarks are semantic so screen readers can navigate structure.
- Images have descriptive alt text; decorative imagery is hidden from assistive technology.
- Forms use real labels and text-based error messages announced to screen readers.
- The site remains usable at 200% browser zoom and at 320-pixel viewport width without loss of content.
- Animation respects your operating system's reduce motion preference.
- Body text is set at 18 pixels for easier reading.
Conformance status
We aim for this website to conform with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We review the site's accessibility using automated testing tools and manual keyboard navigation, and we correct issues we find as we become aware of them. This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time certification, and we do not claim full conformance across every page and feature.
Report a barrier — and what happens next
If you run into an accessibility barrier — anything from a link you can't focus with the keyboard to a page you can't understand with a screen reader — please tell us. You do not need to describe it in technical terms; telling us what you were trying to do is enough.

What happens after you contact us
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within one business day and will work with you to provide the information or service you were trying to reach in an alternate format — for example, over the phone, by email, or by mail — while we look into the underlying issue. We do not currently commit to a fixed remediation timeline for every barrier, but we will tell you honestly what we can do and keep you updated as we work on it.
There is no cost to you for any alternate format we provide.
Ongoing work and known limitations
Accessibility isn't a one-time project. We test each substantial change to the site with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader passes.
Areas we are continuing to improve: expanded testing with additional screen-reader and browser combinations, and review of any third-party embedded content, which may not fully match our own standards. If you find something we missed, please let us know — your feedback makes the site better for the next person.
