About
About Alenta Service
Alenta Service is a geriatric care management and Pennsylvania waiver service coordination company. We exist because too many families discover, in the middle of a crisis, that no single person is accountable for the whole picture of an older adult's care. We built Alenta to be that accountable person — independent, clinically grounded, and focused only on what's right for the family in front of us.
Our mission
Our mission is to give families and individuals one trustworthy point of accountability for coordinating complex care — whether that means a private geriatric care manager assessing an aging parent's needs nationwide, or a service coordinator helping a Pennsylvania waiver participant plan, connect, and monitor services close to home.
How Alenta started
Alenta was founded in 2017 to fill a gap families kept describing the same way: providers who didn't talk to each other, plans that fell apart between appointments, and no one whose job it was to hold the whole picture together. We started as a small, focused practice and have grown into a company serving families nationwide for private care management and a formal 14-county coordination area across Pennsylvania for waiver services — while keeping the same person-centered approach we started with.
Our approach
Every engagement starts with listening — to the individual, the family, and whatever providers are already involved — before recommending anything. From there, our work generally follows the same pattern: assess the full picture (medical, functional, cognitive, safety, financial, and family dynamics), build a written plan, coordinate the people carrying it out, and monitor over time so the plan adjusts as circumstances change.
We work the same way whether the engagement is a private geriatric care manager relationship or Pennsylvania waiver service coordination: person-centered, clearly documented, and responsive when circumstances change.
Independence and our conflict policy
Alenta does not accept referral fees or commissions from home care agencies, assisted living communities, or any other provider we might recommend. When we suggest a next step — a specific type of housing, a particular kind of provider, or a change in the care plan — that recommendation is based only on what fits the individual and family, never on a financial relationship with the organization receiving the referral. We believe this independence is essential to being trusted with decisions this important.
A nationwide, private-pay model
Our private geriatric care management work is available to families nationwide on a private-pay basis. We meet in person in Greater Philadelphia and coordinate by phone, video, and secure communication with families and providers anywhere in the country. This model lets a family in another state hire the same level of hands-on, accountable coordination as a family living around the corner from our office.
Our Pennsylvania service area
For Pennsylvania waiver service coordination, Alenta maintains a formal service-coordination area across 14 counties: Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Schuylkill, and York.
